American Porch Swing

Our American Ceder Porch Swing features a contoured seat for superior comfort, the seat slats roll all the way around the bottom giving your swing a unique look.

Cedar has beautiful color and ages well to give years of service from your porch swing. Hang it from any porch, deck or tree to create that special spot to kick back and enjoy your yard or garden. This swing is made from 100% western red cedar wood and solidly built with 1x2 slats on a 2x4 frame for plenty of support, years of service and great looks.

Item is securely made in four separate pieces for simple and fast assembly. Just connect the back to the seat and then use the bolts to add on the arm rests and you are done. In about 10 minutes your new swing will be complete. After you fasten the bolts, that we provide for you, all that is left to do is pick a spot to hang your swing.

CHAIN
We use much thicker, stronger, heavier rated chain than you will find just about anywhere else. The chain is rated nearly twice as strong as the standard double loop chain, to hold over 800 pounds.

ROPE
Our rope is made to look like manilla rope, but because it is poly rope it will not mildew or rot. It is 3/4 inch thick, and is rated stronger than our heavy duty chain. We will provide you with plenty of rope so that you can tie it and hang it from a 10 foot height. Please let us know if you are planning on hanging it from a point higher than 10 feet above the ground. The additional cost of adding rope to your order is $35.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS
Stain and Sealant
If you would like, we will finish your swing with a durable cedar wood stain and water sealant. his treatment will drastically slow down the natural cedar aging process. We have 3 stain colors to choose from.

Stainless Steel Hardware
If you would like your swing made with ALL STAINLESS STEEL HARDWARE, we can do that for you. All screws, bolts, washers, nuts as well as the hanging chain, will be stainless steel.

Cupholders
At your request we can add a cupholder to each arm (see picture above for details).

PERSONALIZATION OPTIONS
This price includes your choice of 1-20 letters, which will be hand-burned into the cedar wood. You can choose a name or a short phrase, and we will contact you to discuss the kind of font you would like.

If you need more than 20 letters, we can do that. Between 21-40 letters is an additional $50. If you want this option, please contact us - we are happy to set up custom listings.
